VERONICA
A very useful group of plants. Not only are they
low maintenance but most veronicas will bloom
all summer. Long tapering spikes covered with
small flowers make a wonderful cut flower.
Veronicas will perform best in full sun with
good garden soil but they will tolerate a little
shade and overly dry or overly wet soils. The
slowly expanding clump, usually covered with
rich blue flowers, is a bonus in any garden.
