THANK YOU!
Well... another growing season has come and gone.
Parts were good, parts were not. You could say it was challenging...
...so, it was pretty much a typical year!
You live around here long enough, and you get pretty used to the ups and downs we deal with. You learn to adapt, you accept what you can’t change, and you lean into the good times.
That’s just gardening in NE Kansas.
Cameron Rees, General Manager
But as I said, this past year’s growing season is behind us now. Now, we have several months of winter to rest up and get ready for the new one...and that one will be here before we know it!
As we head into our winter rest, on behalf of all of us out here at Skinner’s, I’d like to thank you. Thank you for reading this newsletter, thank you for coming out to the store to see us, and especially, thank you for your business. We couldn’t be here doing what we do without you.
Thank you!
Happy Holidays to everyone! See you next year!
—Cameron Rees
it’s time for winter hours
Merry Christmas! We're open today, Christmas Eve, till 2 pm if you need anything. Then, it will be time for our Winter Hours. Here at the store, we change our hours a few times a year to coincide with the growing seasons. But please know that we still have houseplants, gifts, and other seasonal items for you throughout the winter, and we will begin stocking lots of new items in late winter to help get you ready for the spring season. You can find our holiday hours and winter hours (beginning Dec. 26) in the image below. Spring hours will return on March 1. Thank you!
